To be a Hospital to the hurting and the lost, to provide Education concerning God and His Word, to Love God and love people, and to accomplish this through prayer and the Power of the Holy Spirit.
We are an interdenominational body of Christian believers that are focused on glorifying God through loving relationships, praying, developing leaders, and reaching the harvest. Our prayer is that you would be blessed and strengthened by the power of Jesus Christ and that you will live a life of abundance in fellowship, joy and liberty. New Life Church is here for you. We would love for you to get connected and feel at home.
The Ministry Center was built in 2010 with our first service being held in February. Prior to that time we worshiped in our former location on Hwy 401 just north of Rolesville. We refer to this building as the Ministry Center for several reasons. Being “multi-purpose” in its design, this building houses our worship services on Sunday and Wednesday. At times we have banquets, luncheons, indoor recreation, and meetings of different types. So you can see – we make good use of the building that God has blessed us with. With the costs associated with building these days, it’s simply good stewardship, we believe, to use the same space for a variety of purposes. It should also be mentioned that what you see here now is “Phase One” of our vision. As the need arises, we plan to add over 13,000 square feet to this facility – a two story addition will double the size of the sanctuary, and provide many needed classrooms and office space. We’re just getting started here!
Here’s what you might expect on a typical Sunday. When you enter the Ministry Center you’ll be greeted in the lobby by someone who is friendly and willing to help in any way they can. After being handed a church worship folder, feel free to help yourself to a cup of coffee or some juice. You’ll quickly notice that the dress code is fairly open. Although some prefer to wear dresses and suits, others will be dressed in jeans or other casual clothing. Either is fine with us! We begin at 10:00 on Sundays, usually with our choir singing very early in the service. Although most churches today have eliminated choir singing, we still enjoy it, and it has proven to be a powerful means to usher us into worship.
The style of music in our worship services is varied. In one Sunday morning you might hear (or sing) a hymn written many years ago, a contemporary song that you heard on the radio on your way to church that morning, a southern gospel tune, and a song straight out of Scripture – all in one service! The reason we gather is to worship; and that can take many forms. Praise and worship, choir singing, prayer, giving, and the clear declaration of God’s Word all take place each week. We desire your time with us to be enjoyable and pleasant, so you’ll never have to worry about being put on the spot. Just come on in and make yourself at home – you’re among friends! Pastor Ron preaches/teaches the Bible every Sunday in such a way that everybody “gets it”. Why not join us a time or two? We think you’ll like it!
New Life Church has based its beliefs on “the whole Bible rightly divided.” We accept the Bible as God’s Holy Word, inspired, inerrant, and infallible. We believe the Bible to be God’s written revelation of Himself to mankind and our guide in all matters of faith; therefore, we look to the Bible as our highest authority for doctrine, practice, organization, and discipline. New Life Church is firm in its commitment to orthodox Christian belief. We affirm that there is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, the physical miracles He performed, His atoning death upon the Cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory at His second coming. We profess that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of sinful mankind. We believe the sinner is brought to an awareness of the need for salvation through the convicting work of the Holy Spirit. We believe that in sanctification by the blood of Christ, one is made holy. We affirm the present, active ministry of the Holy Spirit who guides the Church and by whose indwelling and empowerment we are able to live godly lives and render effective service to God and others. We believe in the oneness and ultimate unity of believers for which our Lord prayed, and that this should be visibly displayed “that the world may know, see, and believe” God’s glory, the coming of His Son, and the great love He has for His people (John 17:20–23). We are committed to the sanctity of the marriage bond and the importance of strong, loving Christian families.

Recovery is for EVERYONE and everyone NEEDS recovery! Twelve Stones Recovery is for any kind of struggle in our lives. A common misconception is that recovery is only for those who have substance abuse issues. The truth is only about 1/3 of people who attend meetings struggle with alcohol or chemical dependency. Many more come for problems with anger, depression, anxiety, problems with their marriage, over eating, grief or body image issues. Others may come to support a friend or family member that is struggling. We believe there is freedom from your hurts, habits and hang ups in Jesus Christ. Twelve Stones Recovery meets every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the Ministry Center and is led by Dr. Ron Wallace and his wife Joy.
Pastor Ron came to New Life Church in June of 1997. He and his wife Joy had previously served churches in Van Buren MO, Lexington NC, and Winter Garden FL. They have two children, Beth (Treigh) and Nathan (Ashley), and one granddaughter, Lucie. Pastor Ron and Joy celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this year.
Pastor Ron grew up in a pastor’s home. He attended Tomlinson College and Lee University, both of which are located in Cleveland, TN. Pastor Ron and Joy have been serving in ministry for over forty years. Our Pastor is committed long-term to this community and to the vision of New Life Church. Being neither flamboyant nor demonstrative, Pastor Ron simply communicates God’s truth in ways that everyone can understand. Please feel free to call him when you have a need. He would love to be your pastor.
